Archie is found to be a most unusual child. He fails to have the usual ‘Terrible Two’s’ behavorial difficulty that most young boys always seem to have.
He has unusal tastes in the way he dresses and is obsessed with the clothes as worn in the tevelvision show ‘Peaky Blinders’.
He is also desperate to have a puppy.
He dreams and asks a man in his dreams for these gifts when his upcoming birthday arrives. He only gets a ‘Peaky Blinders’ cap.
But the following Christmas he gets the caps, the boots the braces, and wastecoat and a Spaniel puppy named Lola.
The story ends with Archie asking his mother who she thinks the man in his dream was.
