About The Author: Author Audrey Lee writes stories that paint a beautiful picture. It is her hope to teach young readers how important and wonderful love is. Audrey is a twenty-year-old young woman from Janesville Wisconsin. Writing has been her passion ever since she could hold a pencil. She is currently a student at Indiana University studying Creative Writing, Spanish and Marketing. She has always received high marks in English and literature classes, and has published poetry on small scales, as well as participated in multiple writing events through the NaNoWriMo organization. She writes for the campus satirical newspaper, Hoosier Flipside. She is also a writer and reporter for the Indiana Daily Student. Each week she publishes a book column in which I she interviews authors about their newest publications and discuss books of interest to students. Along with her involvement in these writing communities, she also works as a research assistant to an English professor studying feminist novels.
Message From Author: I am a twenty-year-old young woman from Janesville Wisconsin. Writing has been my passion ever since I could hold a pencil. I am the author of “The Word Shop Man,” a children’s book that teaches the meaning of the word ‘love.’ Along with this book, I have poetry published in the Canvas Creative Arts Magazine. I am also a writer and reporter for the Indiana Daily Student as well. Each week I publish a book column in which I interview authors about their newest publications and discuss books of interest to students. In my spare time, I write newsletters and blog posts for Shrishti Creation, a non-profit company helping trafficked women in India and Thailand. Outside of writing, I work as a lifeguard for Indiana University Recreational Sports.
