About Apara Mahal Sylvester: Living in Somerset County New Jersey with her husband and cats, Apara is an avid author and freelance writer. Her debut book, Angel Child, was her memoir. A subsequent memoir is Chaplaincy: A Hospital Chaplain Intern’s Journey.
Apara since became inspired to write children’s books. Down By The River Where Dreams Come True, her first children’s book, is based on her love of her own cats, Babe and Boo Boo, and cats everywhere.
