Great character development. In particular, the main character, Lucia, who fights bad experiences and the despair that accompanies it. Finally she begins a new journey with her family. She meets new people during this process to find peace. A strong story with a fast moving plot. I highly recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Review by Samfreene: VINE VOICE. 5.0 out of 5 stars Full Circle: Lucia. The circle of life has no beginning and no end. The paths we take often have many cracks, streaks and holes with the smooth circle that helps us understand life, the sadness, the tragedies and the joys in different ways. Families react to tragedies in different ways. Some unite and form an alliance while others disappear and refuse to become part of the healing process.
How do you deal with experiences that are unexpected, life’s surprises both good and bad and what happens when the person that has kept you at bay, destroyed your morale and used you for a punching bag, a person to criticize finally disappears? Lucia Rossi lived in fear of her abusive husband, Vincent for many years. Never able to keep a job, drunk on the job, leaving his family with little money for food or anything else, this man hid his wealth, his belongings and more in a secret and private room that only he had access to. Why?
Getting work would not be easy for him and yet Sam, Lucia’s brother-in-law made sure he got something with the threat he’d better not drink or even think about abusing his wife ever again. But some people never change, and gambling and alcohol would be his downfall getting into his vehicle he crashes into another and is killed. Reactions vary but no one seems overwhelmingly upset. His two children handle it well and with Sam and her sisters, Lucia pulls it together but when she and Sam enter the private room shock waves go right through Lucia, and a harsh reality sets in. Life would be hard, but Sam would be there to help financially and emotionally for her and her two children, Anna and Mario. Plus, her sister Maria had a huge house and would welcome the company in more ways than one.
Going to stay with her sister they run into a huge snowstorm and Lucia does not know how she is going to be able to get the car out of the snowbank, keep the children safe and go for help. Leaving them in the car, braving the elements she falls prey to the dangers of the snow and is lucky that Luke, the young man that will become a part of all their lives in the future, comes and saves them.
Luke works on a ranch for Bob Flanagan who tears him like a son. The respect is huge, and Luke tends to the horses, stables, and more while taking care of his grandfather, Jake. A town filled with love, hope, and friendship, and a family that needs to find its way back to being whole. Lives are impacted and Anna and Mario must deal with changes in life and Lucia must decide where hers is going. With a certain amount in her bank account, she must decide, where they will live and how they will manage. Family ties are strong, and Sam is a blessing to Lucia as well as Bob to Luke when for the second time his grandfather has a heart attack, and this time does not make it. Both Luke and Anna bond in many respectful ways, Bob understands that Luke has no one else but him and offers to let him live in his house and continue to work on the ranch.
Learning to ride a horse, Anna was a natural and Mario enjoyed it too. The ranch and Luke provided friendship and emotional support for both as well as Lucia making a huge life’s decision to sell their home and move up to Sable town as their new permanent place of residence. Both Anna and Mario had their own feelings about it but because their mother thought this was best they supported her in every way. Luke and Anna seemed to bond, Bob was more than happy to have Luke with him, and for the most part at least for a little while, things went well. Lucia got a job in a restaurant and then as a teller in a bank. But, life handed them some tragedies when Luke’s grandfather dies, then Sam is worried about Annette , Lucia’s sister and decides to make a deal with Bob, to sell his home in his town, and buy Jake’s home using Bob as the contact to help him sort it all out. Now, that Sam will be there all the time, Annette they hope will be fine Luke and Anna are now a couple to a point and Lucia realizes that certain conversations are at hand.
Life is great, holidays are filled with family, friends and love but as things progress another tragedy falls.
With another tragedy her sister, passing, then the horror that takes place in the bank, when a man comes in, wants to rob the bank, Bob had a weapon but gets off the shots, but somehow the killer manages to get him. Lives are in jeopardy, everyone is tense, Lucia must make a statement to the police, and once again Anna is there for Luke, as he now has no one on his side as true family when Bob’s injuries take his life, and the doctors did not see the gravity of them all.
Another funeral, another life gone, as Sam comes to comfort Lucia and Anna, Luke. But, shocks happen as Luke is contacted by David, who handles Bob’s finances, businesses and more, what he learns will change his life forever, but will it change him? Time does not stand still anywhere even in Sable town. The weather changes, the seasons move on and then Luke has to make decisions that will affect not only him but someone else too. How do you react when your world is about to change and your circumstances too? What about past relationships, what about you? Sam becomes a strong part of Lucia’s life, abuse, darkness, despair and a shadow of blackness will it be lifted? An ending filled with surprises, twists and serious turns as Sam, Lucia, Anna, Luke, Mario and Maria must decide whether they will allow that veil to be lifted, where will their lives go, what about Luke and Anna? How do you take your life and bring it back to where it was before it changed? Can you take it from where it started, where the changes began and bring back Full Circle?
Author Robert Saniscalchi brings to light the importance of love, trust, honesty, hope, family loyalties and much more as the journey goes from start to finish where will they all wind up next? The experiences are invaluable and the ties tight as the author reminds us of the importance of how the circle of life is fragile, filled with broken paths and more and yet somehow we all just might survive. A story that everyone needs to read and embrace as the author reminds us life might be fragile, but family ties are stronger. When the darkness is strong make sure you let the sunlight back in!
