Rudy Lopes was born in New York City of immigrant parents. Growing up a Bronx kid, he developed a love for playing guitar, watching baseball, and reading thousands of fantasy and sci-fi novels.
With a strong librarian mother, three sisters, a wife, and two daughters, his writing naturally includes women striving to find their own place in the world.
As a technologist and erstwhile entrepreneur, Rudy’s mind is always attuned to what might be. He remains on the lookout for the bright blue police box, the unexpected party, or the shimmer of a transporter to signal the start of an adventure.
MYSTICS OF SONODUHL is his debut epic fantasy novel.
