Stacy Manning Casaluci’s Books

Know You’re Not Alone by Stacy Manning Casaluci.

This endearing story is about a mother and her two sons, who must say goodbye to the father when he leaves on a military mission. The brothers, Cory and Kyler, continue their lives, uncertain when their father will return home.

One night their guardian angel appears and says, “I know how you’re feeling, but you must have faith and keep on believing. Even when you think you’re all on your own, remember and know you’re not alone.”

The boys listen to their angel and accept things the way they are, finding ways to be happy. Even though things aren’t how they want them to be, they have faith their father will be able to come home. The question is, “When?”

Stacy Manning Casaluci always loved reading bedtime stories to her children. In this book, her two sons are the brothers, Cory and Kyler. As boys, they enjoyed learning about the different branches of the military, and it’s the reason the father in the book goes on a Special-Ops mission. She says, “I’m inspired by the people serving in the military and the families who live apart from their loved ones.” In her first book, Miracles Love a Believer, her daughter is the Princess Cirina Marie. Both stories have guardian angels who watch over the children, bringing them comfort, guidance, and protection. The author lives with her husband in Palm Desert, California, and continues to participate in the arts, acting, and writing.

5 Stars: Dedicated To Military Families!

Know You’re Not Alone by Stacy Casaluci is dedicated to military families.

Beautiful Illustrations, on blue and white pages by Kalpart bring the story to life. The pictures will capture the imagination of adults and children.

This fantasy adventure begins with a castle, and two brothers named Cory and Kyler. The two boys live with their mother, as their Dad leaves on a military mission far out at sea.

While the two boys miss their Dad, their Mom home schools them, insisting they keep up their studies.

With simple rhyme and a relatable story, the boy’s study, play with their toys, paint, play music and write. Like typical boys they wrestle, and have so much energy that they end up outside, where they climb rocks and swim in the stream.

With play swords, the boys pretend to soldiers and kings, until it is time to come inside for dinner, a bath and off to bed. Their Mom reads them a bedtime story to them, they said their prayers, and then it is time for sleep.

Suddenly an Angel appears. The boys watch and listen. The message of the Angel is powerful. Seasons came and go, and the boys wait for their father to return. One day a plane flies high in the sky, and out of the plane comes a man, floating to earth with a parachute. Their prayers had been answered, their father is home. Once again, their family is whole.

I encourage you to buy this book and share it with a child in your life. It is a book of hope, especially for children who are separated by a father or mother in the military.

I recommend this book for classroom reading. Great for all types of community, church, and school libraries.

The Serial Reader: 5.0 out of 5 Stars. A heartwarming tale for young readers missing a love one. Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020. Verified Purchase. Two young brothers, Cory and Kyler live in their home, a fortress that overlooks the sea with everything they need. Their mother’s love is all there for them, plus they have lots of books to read and toys to play with. But the two kids miss their father who is away on a military mission. They miss him and that makes them sad. Then one night, an angel appears to them and advises them to keep on believing. When they see a plane flying in the sky, they are thrilled by the site and wonder how great it can feel like to fly a plane…. then someone drops off the plane and on a parachute. To their utter delight, it is their father.

There is a lot in store for kids in this book. The colorful illustrations, the easy-to-understand poetic style of writing, and the fun world of Cory and Kyler. The author paints a beautiful world for kids to navigate and while she makes them know that life isn’t always sunny, she proposes a path to deal with pain and the sense of loss: turn to their spiritual allies to find hope. It is a very inspiring and entertaining tale that will make for a gorgeous gift for your kid.

Review by Bonny Link: 5.0 out of 5 Stars. Precious Book. Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2023. Verified Purchase. This is a sweet book that encourages little ones to believe in dreams. They may not come true right now, but they will come true in one form or another when the time is right. The message: if you believe, miracles happen.

Review by Amazon Customer: 5.0 out of 5 Stars. Important lesson! Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2011. Verified Purchase. What a precious story & a great lesson! Good for adults to read too. As we get older, we tend to get caught up in the daily grind & our dreams that we once had when we were young start to slip away. This is a gentle reminder to “remember” the laws of attraction & that what we think creates our reality. You’re never too young to learn this or too old to be reminded.

Review by Children’s Book Reviewer: 5.0 out of 5 Stars. Miracles loves a Believer is a touching story about how children should never give up on their dreams. Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2011. In a kingdom far away lived a princess in a beautiful castle. Her name was Princess Cirina Marie. Her mother and father were the king and queen of the Island of Dreams. The princess loved to play with her stuffed animals, her favorite being a horse named Moondancer. Before she went to sleep, a guardian angel sat on her bed whispering in her ear, that miracles love a believer, if you choose to believe, anything you imagine, can become more than a dream.

Princess Cirina believed that Moondancer could become a real horse, she believed and believed. When she opened her eyes and there he was, a full-grown horse with wings, but where would they go on their new adventure? What will they learn along the way?

This is a marvelous story of believing in one’s self and never losing the faith in miracles. Children’s dreams should never go astray as they get older. We, as adults, had dreams we once believed in, but as we grew, compromised with our choices in life so much that many of our dreams have been forgotten. Children should know that their dreams do not have limitations. Anything they want to do, anything they want to become, should be a reality for those who really want it.

Children of all ages will enjoy this 32-page picture book.
